Plonk's experience in horse racing also includes management roles in mutuels and publicity as well as charting races for Equibase Company, LLC, and hosting the very first shows aired on the The Racing Network, America's first at-home, all-horse racing network. He also is a member of the official Kentucky Derby notes team each spring.
